Meatballs & Cheese

*Ingredients :

*For four persons

°400 g minced meat
°1 finely chopped onion
°2 cloves of grated garlic
°1 teaspoon of cumin
°1 teaspoon of paprika
°½ teaspoon hot pepper
°Salt pepper
°1 teaspoon of parsley
°1 teaspoon finely chopped coriander
°Olive oil


°200 g grated mozzarella
°Pepper, coriander

+For the tomato sauce

°400 g fresh peeled tomatoes
°2 cloves garlic
°1 teaspoon of paprika
°Olive oil
°Salt pepper
°1 teaspoon of tomato puree
°1 teaspoon of parsley
°1 tablespoon finely chopped coriander

*Preparation :

1. Start by mixing the minced meat with the rest of the ingredients for the preparation of the meat. Add a drizzle of olive oil. Stir it all up.

2. Make balls. Sear them in a little olive oil. Sauté for 5 minutes. Remove from heat. Set aside a few minutes.

3. In a tajine, put a little olive oil, add the tomatoes, parsley, coriander, garlic, cumin, hot pepper, paprika and salt. Simmer for 10 minutes over medium heat. Then add the minced meatballs. Mix gently. Cover and cook for 10 minutes.

4. Add the grated mozzarella. Let simmer for another 3 minutes. Sprinkle with parsley or chopped cilantro. Serve without delay!
