°½ lb linguine
°2 tsp unsalted butter
°2 tsp olive oil
°1 tsp garlic
°¼ tsp red pepper flakes
°½ lb jumbo shrimp (or size of your choice
°⅛ tsp of salt
°⅛ tsp pepper
°⅓ c white wine or chicken broth
°3 tsp lemon juice
°3 tablespoons finely chopped parsley, plus more for garnish


Add the linguini to a large pot of salted boiling water and cook until hard, about 7 minutes. Drain well.
While pasta cooks, adding butter and vegetable oil to  skillet on heat. Add garlic and red pepper flakes and cook for one minute.
Adding shrimp, salt also pepper to skillet & cook, stir frequently, to shrimp are cooked through and pink, about 5 minutes. Removing prawns to a plate and set apart.
Stir in wine (or chicken broth) and juice and cook for 1 minute.Removing pan from heat and stir in the parsley. Returning linguine & shrimp to skillet and toss to coat with sauce.
Divide between two2plates or bowls and top with tranches of steak.
Heat  wrought iron skillet on high heat and sprinkling steak with salt also pepper. While pan is hot, lightly brushing steak with oil.
Place the steak in the skillet and cook, about 3 to 4 minutes on all sides, until cooked to your desire doneness 
While the steak cooks, combine the butter and garlic in a small bowl.
Top the steak with the spread and let it rest for about 5 minutes before slicing (you have to slice against the grain).
