Lemon Loaf






*List of components you will need:


°3 large eggs.

°1 + 1/2 cup cake flour.

°1 cup granulated sugar.

°1/3 cup lemon juice.

°1/2 cup coconut oil.

° tablespoons soft butter.

°1 teaspoon lemon extract.

°1 teaspoon vanilla.

°1 teaspoon baking powder.

°1/2 teaspoon baking soda.

°1/2 teaspoon salt.

+To prepare lemon ice:

*You will need:

°1 cup powdered sugar + 1 tbsp.

°2 tablespoons of whole milk.

°1/2 teaspoon lemon extract.


*Methods :


Step 1:

In a medium sized bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.

Step 2:

In a separate bowl, mix eggs, white sugar, softened butter, vanilla extract, lemon extract, and lemon juice using an electric mixer.

Step 3:

I combined the dry ingredients with the wet ingredient and blended them until smooth with a wooden fork.

The fourth step:

I stir in the oil, and mix properly for a few more seconds.

Fifth step:

Pour the mixture into a loaf pan greased with a little oil.

Sixth step:

I've baked for 40 to 45 minutes at 350 degrees Fahrenheit. When a toothpick trapped in the center of the cake comes out clean, I remove it from the oven.

Seventh step:

Meanwhile, make the icing, by blending all the garnishing ingredients in a small bowl, and whisking them with an electric mixer on low speed to get the frosting.

Eighth step:

I removed the loaf from the pan while it was cooling and covered with ice.

Step 9:

Even slicing, I leave the Thermion loaf in the fridge until the icing has set.
