Country Apple Fritter Bread

1/3 cup Light brown sugar
1 teaspoon Ground cinnamon
2/3 cup White sugar
1/2 cup Butter, softened
2 Eggs
1 1/2 teaspoons Vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups All-purpose flour
1 3/4 teaspoons Baking powder
1/2 cup Milk
2 Apples, peeled and chopped (any kind)
Old-Fashioned Creme Glaze
1/2 cup Powdered sugar
2 tablespoons Milk or cream
Instructions:

Preheat the oven to 350°F.

Prepare a 9x5-inch loaf pan by spraying it with non-stick spray or lining it with foil for easy removal.

In a bowl, mix together the brown sugar and cinnamon. Set it aside.

In another medium-sized bowl, use an electric mixer to beat the white sugar and softened butter until smooth and creamy.

Add the eggs one at a time, blending them well into the mixture. Then, add the vanilla extract.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour and baking powder. Add this mixture into the creamed butter mixture and stir until well blended.

Pour the milk into the batter and mix until it becomes smooth.

Pour half of the batter into the prepared loaf pan. Add half of the chopped apples and half of the brown sugar/cinnamon mixture.

Lightly pat the apple mixture into the batter.

Pour the remaining batter over the apple layer and top it with the remaining chopped apples and brown sugar/cinnamon mixture.

Lightly pat the apples into the batter and use a knife or spoon to swirl the brown sugar mixture through the apples.

Bake the loaf in the preheated oven for approximately 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

While the bread is cooling for about 15 minutes, prepare the glaze by mixing the powdered sugar and milk or cream until well combined.

After cooling, drizzle the glaze over the bread.

Enjoy the delicious Country Apple Fritter Bread!
