°1 cup of sugar
°1 packet of cream cheese
°½ cup soft cream butter
°3 cups powdered sugar
°1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

Preheat the oven according to the instructions on the back of the cake box. Cooking time according to the instructions.
Prepare an 11 x 7-inch baking dish, but spray it with nonstick cooking spray. Bake the cake, once done remove from the oven. Let cool slightly.
Using end of wooden spoon to poke holes in cake at ½ inch intervals.
Add the crushed pineapple with the juice and a cup of sugar to a saucepan, bringing it to a boil.
Pour all over the top of the cake. Let cool.
Adding cream cheese, butter & powder sugar to a mixing bowl.
Using an electric mixer to beat ingredients together.
Use a spatula to incorporate the vanilla and crushed pecans.
Using an offset spatula, spread the frosting over the top of the cake.
