+For chicken:
°1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into 1-inch pieces
°Salt and pepper to taste
°1 cup cornstarch
°2 large eggs, beaten
°1/4 cup canola oil
+To prepare the sweet and sour sauce:
°3/4 cup granulated sugar
°4 tablespoons of ketchup
°1/2 cup distilled white vinegar
°1 tablespoon of soy sauce
°1 teaspoon garlic salt

Begin by preheating your oven 325°F (165°C). Greased 9x13 baking pan and set aside.
Season chicken pieces with salt & pepper. Then dip the chicken in the cornstarch to coat and then the beaten eggs.
Heat canola oil in skillet on medium-high heat. Adding chicken and cook until brown, but not completely cook through. Placing chicken in the prepared baking dish.
In bowl, whisking the sugar, ketchup, white vinegar, soy sauce, & garlic salt. Pour this sauce equally over the chicken.
Baking in a preheated oven for 1 hour, stir every 15 minutes to coat chicken with the sauce.
