Some time ago a friend of mine asked me if I had a recipe for Woolworth's Cheesecake. I didn't even remember anyone telling me they had cheesecake, so I definitely didn't have the recipe there. Anyway, of course it prompted me to start an internet search for the recipe. Now, I don't know if this is the real recipe...there are many others, but this is the one I tried.
The first time I made this I thought "wow...that's a lot of candy"...so I invited some friends over and shared it with them.
I regretted it later...
Well, because it was so amazing.
Now, even though it's called "cheesecake"... it really isn't. not far away ...
I would like to rename it "Lemon Flavor Dessert" or "Lemon Flavor Ice Box", but it is really delicious. And for lemon lovers looking for a light dessert (No calories, but appetizing) for a spring date, this is the one!
